What is the Reformer

The springs do the calibrating.

The Reformer is a smooth, spring-loaded machine that adds gentle, fully adjustable resistance to every movement. Change the springs and the same exercise becomes easier or harder, which is why one class can hold a first-timer and someone with years of practice at the same time.

The work is low-impact and deeply effective: long, strong muscles, a stronger core, and better posture. You stand taller, move easier, and feel more confident in your body, without the pounding of high-impact exercise.

Common questions

Do I need Reformer experience to start?

No. Reformer Beginner classes are built for people who have never touched the machine, and your instructor sets up your springs and straps with you before class starts.

What is the difference between Reformer and Mat?

The Reformer uses a spring-loaded carriage to add adjustable resistance. Mat classes use your own bodyweight on the floor. Both are low-impact and build the same long, strong muscles — many members do both.

Are Reformer classes taught in Spanish?

Yes. Reyna Pilates teaches in both English and Spanish. Check the live schedule for which classes are offered in each language.

How much does it cost to try?

Your first three classes are free with the New Member Trial, valid for seven days and good for any class on the schedule.
